Ethnic Inspiration

Ethnic prints, bright colors, and ever-changing patterns. The pairings are lively, but not overwhelming. Beautiful, Feminine, and Adventurous. Perfection.

Oh and....  Kate Fogarty is a Goddess. STL roots. Love

Denver Hair Show

So impressed with the talent showcased at the recent finale of Denver Fashion Weekend. These people could most definetely be working backstage in New York or Paris!

Trend Spotting :::: Pajama Dressing

Spotted the pajama dressing trend on the streets of New York and Paris Fashion Weeks as well as Resort 12' collections.

Billowy silk pants worn with either matching or contrasting button-ups. Wedges, stacked bracelets, and structured bags help to weigh down the effortless look.

I love oversized / non-constricting clothes. You can eat a sando for lunch, be cozy, and still look chic. Who's not into that?

The "Anti-It-Girl"

Baahhhhh. I need to settle down so I can just briefly explain how awesome this shoot is.
First. The Girl. Jesse Jo Stark or as Mark Hunter coined, " The Anti-It-Girl,"  is a designer and singer out of LA.  Her crazy and ambitious style seems effortless and gives off a sophisticated yet tom-boy look.  This past summer, she teamed up with VANS to create her own unique line. Its described as feminine, but tough which fits perfectly with her overall style.  I find her to be one of the most beautttiffulll girls.   Keep it up Jesse Jo

Second.  The Photographer. Mr. Mark Hunter AKA The Cobra Snake is one of the most innovative and creative photographers out there.  Known for his candid party shots, he captures the many styles out of LA and around the world. He is all about taking shots when people least expect, capturing a true moment in time.  He IS THE MAN and one of my ultimate favs.

Thanks you two, this made my day. To check out more from the shoot visit his site and make it one of your daily clicks.

Simply Rag and Bone

I'm quite a fan of the DIY Project and an even bigger fan of Miranda Kerr.
What is the DIY project you ask?  Well,  Rag and Bone has chosen seven of their fav hot babes for a very unique and awesome shoot to feature their jeans.  The rules: No makeup, No hair, No stylist, and No lighting.

"...just a girl and her camera. and Rag & Bone." - r&b

Fashion Recap

As Denver Fashion Weekend wraps up all I can think about is how incredible it was to be surrounded by and working with such a creative community. First of all, the mingling guests were just as inspiring as the fashion show! - love the unique Denver stylistas. No one looked cookie cutter or like they copied a look from an editorial. We love getting new ideas of how to style outfits from real chicks - that's what's up! See how the hip guys and gals of Denver dressed the first night here and the second night here

As for the show - the photos speak for themselves - KILLER styling ** Wardrobe and hair/makeup** See the second night's show here

One of our fav boutiques located right in LoHi, Goldyn, really killed it in featuring the newest classicly chic, yet edgy, looks from designers I'm obsessed with: Helmut Lang, Alexander Wang, MQ by Alexander Mcqueen. Owner Vanessa is seeing cozy knits and fur (faux or real), and sometimes in the form a snood for fall.    The amazing dresses and flowy tops were instantly hyped up with local designer Cosmic Thread's graphic statement necklaces that made me want to instantly shop here. and here

Sous Le Lit gave us awesome casual styling ideas. I would totally rock their Dear Dorothy and BB Dakota looks with my Frye's or cowboy boots. Leisel's vision was inspired by the 70's and vintage vibes.

The hair, the haaaiiiirrr, was one of the best parts of the show, Blow Dry Lounge definetly showed us what they are made of...
